A Letter
from Our Pastor
Dear Connect Church Family,
When we planted Connect Church in the fall of 2018, we never realized all that God had in store for His church. We serve a God who is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20). Hundreds of people have come to faith in Jesus over the past nearly 7 years. We have watched and celebrated hundreds take their next step in their faith through baptism. The Lord has been so good to Connect Church.
Our heartbeat remains strong; we desire above all to make much of Jesus and to connect everyone with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Our vision is clear; we are going to love God, love people, and make disciples. As our community grows, the church must grow as well. With tens of thousands of people still without a church home across our community and many thousands of people without a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, the work and mission of Connect Church have never been more important and have never been more urgent.
Our church continues to grow. We are starting to average over 1,200 each Sunday on campus. Parking spaces are full and the Connect Kidz area is nearing capacity. The multiplying of our services will help create some more space to continue to grow and reach people, but it is not a long-term fix. We need a new home!
This Five Year Vision website contains our plans for the next phase of our vision which is centered on building our new home debt free. The mission behind this effort is found in the teachings of Psalm 78, that the generations may know Him. One thing is for sure, without HIM, this is impossible. There is also another certainty that we know to be true: we need you! Together, we will continue to pray like never before, share the gospel like never before, serve like never before, and give like never before!
We are ready to move forward as a church, to take hold of the vision that has been cast, and to continue to connect everyone with the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ!
